Michael’s Genuine is a great place to stop by for a couple of drinks and some good pizza if you are ever having a walk around the Miami design district.
Their prices are affordable and, as I always say, you can tell how good a pizzeria is based on their plain Margherita cheese pizza and Michel’s Genuine has a pretty good one.
In the center of the Design district where many restaurants have not been as fortunate with success and have had to close, this Miami Design district restaurant has been around for several years, around 10 yearz to be more precise which tells you they must be doing something right
On our last visit we had a pizza craving so we ordered a couple, one plain Margherita as I mentioned and one pizza with caramelized onions,
We ordered the pizzas with a couple of drinks and had a great time. The Bartender was also friendly and I will mention that friendly service always enhances a restaurant experience.
The restaurant also has an oyster bar for those of you who like oysters, and a veriety of dishes a brother restaurant of Harry’s Pizzeria
So if you are in the design district area shopping around and feel like a bite, or if you want a date out of the Miami beach scene, Michaels is definitely a good choice, it has nice ambience, surroundings and food.
