Harrys Pizzeria
Today we are Zooming Into Harry’s pizzeria it’s a small place close to the design district thats worth checking out if you are, like me, a pizza lover. What captured my attention is that it had a lot of movement even though it was a small place, there were people having some drinks at the bar, some families were eating casually so its safe to say it’s a place for everybody, families or or dates open to different types of programs. My personal experience at Harrys pizzeria was on a Saturday night, we found a nice place to sit outside, there are also some places inside if you are more of an air conditioning type person. the menu has good prices, nothing over-the-top, very accessible to anyone who wants to taste good oven Pizza but in more of a relaxing environment.
We started out with a with a glass of rose wine and some tea, both were very nice picks recommended by our waitress on a on our romantic Saturday night meal. I enjoyed that we ordered a glass of wine to get a nice mood to start with. the waitress was cool with us she was also in a cool relaxed attire which always helps when you are also in a relaxed mood.
We started our meal with the appetizer a “mozzarella Caprese” I’ve loved capresses my whole life and normally I would expect red tomatoes with mozzarella and some standard balsamic reduction but what I found interesting was that it came with very juicy yellow tomatoes which was very interesting, we liked that very much because the chef it wasn’t oriented with the balsamic vinegar but more towards the olive oil which was very nice and I enjoyed a lot
We also tried out a very nice version of potatoes served with a special kind of ketchup which intrigued us when we first saw the dish, it was a nice and different appetizer.
For our main course we had several choices but the one that captured my attention had caramelized onions so we ordered it and we were extremely satisfied after it arrived, the pizza was truly delicious, it had a different twist in its flavor but one worth trying out. You can see a pick of the pizza that may get your taste buds active.
After enjoying our pizza we asked for a recommendation and the waitress told us about their special donuts, so seeing she was pretty accurate with her recommendations so far we went for the donuts which were truly delicious.
In summary Harry’s pizzeria is a great place to have a nice relaxed but tasty meal in our opinion and we will definitely be returning to try some of their other pizza and dishes.
